You've Got Pudding on Your Tail You know, last night, my little sister ate some pudding for a snack. Well, being the little person that she is, she dropped a big hunk of it on the coffee table, and didn't bother to clean it up. Well, no one noticed it, not even the cat.
Later, I poked my head out of my room to see my cat, Fluffy, sitting on the coffee table. I didn't think anything of it. A few minutes

later, she ran into my room. I noticed a big nasty spot of goo on my cat's tail. EW! At first all the nastiest things went through my mind. I mean, it was really gross looking. But then I looked a little closer and realized that it was just pudding. This wasn't just your average chocolate or vanilla pudding, though. This was oreo pudding. It was grey, with little hunks of cookie in it. Can you imagine what you would think that was if you didn't know what it really was? especially if it's smeared all over your cat's tail.
But anyway! My cat didn't seem to notice that she had pudding on her tail. She just went about her normal business. This is not normal for my cat. I don't know what's up with her. But I was trying to get my cat to see that there was pudding on her tail so she could clean it off. I mean, I didn't want her running around the house and getting it on things. I went to all sorts of extents like holding up her tail, and trying to get her to look at it. All sorts of things. But she would not look at her tail! Finally, when I was almost to the point of desperation (it was very late, and I was very tired), I looked at my cat, right in the eye, and
said, "Fluffy, there's pudding on your tail." And then I said it again. And again! "Fluffy! You've got pudding on your tail!" but I just couldn't get through! She was looking me right in the eye, listening to everything I said. She knew I was talking to her. But she didn't understand. It was like talking to a wall! Very frustrating. It was so late, and I was so tired. I was laying in the floor by my cat, looking her in the eye,
telling her that there was pudding on her tail, and she couldn't understand me!!!Eventually I gave up, and went over to the other side of the room to do my homework. A few minutes later, I turned to see my cat washing the pudding off her tail. At the moment I didn't really care. I was just glad to get that pudding cleaned up. It didn't hit me until now, that the whole time I was talking to her, my cat probably knew about the pudding on her tail. She was just waiting till I went away before she dealt with it. Man, do I feel stupid. =)
Well, that's what happens when I stay up too late, and I'm stressed out. I thought it was funny, so I decided to share it with you guys. That may be a mistake, cause now ya'll are going to find out how weird I really am. Talking to my cat, for crying out loud!

I wrote this a really long time ago. It's completely true. I originally wrote it for facebook, but I touched it up a little and used it for a school paper, too (personal essay). I can't believe I'm putting these pictures on the internet!!! They are awful!
